We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to support manufacturing plant operations. This internship provides hands-on experience with production processes, machinery, and maintenance systems, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world industrial environment. The role is ideal for candidates who want to explore careers in manufacturing, process optimization, and mechanical systems management.
Reports to
The intern will report to the Plant Operations Manager / Senior Mechanical Engineer.
What will you do?

Assist in monitoring and improving plant machinery and production systems.

Support preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Collect and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies.

Assist with process documentation, SOPs, and technical reports.

Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with plant standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in production, quality, and maintenance.

Conduct research on new technologies and process improvements.
What are we looking for?

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems.
