Description

We are offering an exciting Quality Control Internship for Mechanical Engineering students and recent graduates. This role provides hands-on training in quality inspection, testing, and process auditing within a manufacturing environment. The internship is ideal for candidates interested in pursuing careers in quality assurance, product validation, and process improvement.

Reports to

The intern will report to the Quality Control Engineer / QA Manager.

What will you do?

  • Assist in conducting inspections of mechanical components and assemblies.

  • Support measurement, testing, and calibration activities.

  • Record and analyze quality data to identify deviations and trends.

  • Help maintain documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records.

  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and root causes.

  • Learn about ISO standards, quality tools, and process audits.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

What are we looking for?

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical components.

  • Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

  • Good attention to detail and analytical mindset.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and apply quality assurance practices.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Knowledge of QA/QC tools (5S, Six Sigma, SPC, Root Cause Analysis).

  • Exposure to ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.

  • Experience with CAD/CAE tools for product verification.

  • Prior academic projects or mini-internships in quality or manufacturing.

Work mode

  • On-site / Hybrid – presence at the plant or workshop may be required.

  • Internship duration: typically 3–6 months, with flexibility for academic schedules.
