Job Summary:

BrightFuture Foundation is seeking a dedicated and organized NGO Program Assistant to support our dynamic team in planning, coordinating, and executing social development programs. The Program Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and stakeholders are effectively engaged. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing NGO programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities, reports, and documentation.
  • Support project managers in monitoring program progress and evaluating outcomes.
  • Coordinate communication with beneficiaries, volunteers, and partner organizations.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and data summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in organizing events, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Track project budgets, expenditures, and assist in financial reporting as needed.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit operations and program management is a plus.

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in NGO program support, community development, or a related field.
  • Experience with report writing, data collection, and program documentation preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work on occasional weekends or evenings for program events or deadlines.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse groups, including beneficiaries and stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to interpret program data and support decision-making.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, evolving environments.
