Job Summary
EduAid Trust is seeking a passionate and dedicated Education Program Officer to join our team. The role is pivotal in planning, implementing, and monitoring education-related programs aimed at improving learning outcomes for underprivileged communities. As an Education Program Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that educational initiatives are effectively executed, monitored, and evaluated to maximize impact. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute education programs and initiatives in alignment with EduAid Trust’s mission.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in educational access and quality within target communities.
- Monitor and evaluate program progress, preparing detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with schools, community organizations, government agencies, and partner NGOs to implement programs effectively.
- Develop educational materials, training modules, and resources to support program objectives.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions for educators, volunteers, and community members.
- Assist in grant writing, fundraising, and mobilizing resources for program sustainability.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, beneficiaries, and outcomes.
- Support advocacy and awareness campaigns to promote the importance of quality education.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, or related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of education development, policy frameworks, and community engagement.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in education program management, community development, or a similar NGO role.
- Experience working with government bodies, schools, or international NGOs is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing educational projects from planning to evaluation.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with flexible hours based on project needs.
- Occasional weekend or evening work may be required during events, workshops, or field visits.
