Job Summary

HealthConnect Foundation is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Health Awareness Program Coordinator to lead, plan, and implement health awareness initiatives across communities. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between the foundation, healthcare professionals, and the public, ensuring that health programs are effectively designed, executed, and evaluated for maximum impact. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, along with a passion for public health and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute health awareness programs, workshops, and campaigns across target communities.
• Develop program materials, resources, and communication strategies to enhance public understanding of health topics.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local health authorities, NGOs, schools, and community leaders.
• Monitor program performance and prepare regular reports, evaluations, and recommendations for improvement.
• Organize training sessions for volunteers and staff to enhance program delivery.
• Act as a representative of HealthConnect Foundation at events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
• Stay updated on public health trends, challenges, and government policies to ensure programs remain relevant.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work, or related fields.
• Proven experience in program coordination, community outreach, or health education preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication platforms.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health awareness strategies, campaign planning, and community engagement.

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in health awareness, public health programs, or NGO project coordination.
• Experience in liaising with government health departments and community organizations is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Full-time role with standard office hours (Monday to Friday).
• Flexibility required for weekend or evening events as per program needs.
• Occasional travel to community sites or partner organizations may be required.
