Job Summary
KindHearts NGO is seeking a motivated and compassionate Part Time NGO Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will assist in day-to-day operations, administrative tasks, and coordination activities, enabling the NGO to focus on delivering meaningful programs and outreach. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in general administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and record management.
- Support program coordinators in organizing community events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Maintain accurate databases of beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners.
- Draft basic reports, emails, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to routine inquiries from volunteers, donors, and the public.
- Help track donations, sponsorships, and other contributions for transparency and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth implementation of projects and initiatives.
- Perform other support duties as assigned to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to organize tasks efficiently and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong sense of confidentiality, integrity, and commitment to NGO values.
Experience
- Prior experience in administrative support, office assistance, or NGO operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Volunteer experience in non-profit organizations or community programs will be highly valued.
Working Hours
- Part-time role, flexible hours (approximately 15–20 hours per week).
- Work-from-home option available with occasional on-site visits for events if necessary.
- Schedule can be adapted to accommodate academic, personal, or professional commitments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic understanding of NGO operations and community development is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
