About the Role

AI Grant Pros, a consulting firm specializing in grants and incentives, is seeking an Incentives Pursuit Coordinator to support large-scale clean transportation and energy initiatives. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and submitting competitive funding applications while ensuring compliance and alignment with project requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to manage the full pre-award lifecycle of funding opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and prepare competitive applications for grants, rebates, voucher programs, and other incentives at the federal, state, local, and utility levels.

• Partner with development, finance, and project teams to ensure applications align with eligibility requirements, project scope, procurement, permitting, design milestones, and construction schedules.

• Develop internal compliance documentation and support contract negotiations through award contracting.

• Operate independently and collaboratively across the entire pre-award lifecycle, from opportunity identification to award contracting.

• Track funding statuses and maintain audit-ready documentation for seamless handoff to the post-award project coordinator.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in grant writing or application development for infrastructure, construction, capital expenditure, or development projects.

• Proven success in securing funding through federal, state, local, or utility-based programs (experience limited to nonprofit/foundation grants will not qualify).

• Strong understanding of procurement, permitting, design, and construction schedules as they relate to funded projects.

• Experience creating compliance documentation and maintaining audit-ready records for incentive-funded projects.

• Familiarity with reimbursement-based programs (grants, rebates, vouchers, tax credits).

• Excellent written communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and document management systems for application and compliance tracking.

• Strong ability to meet deadlines, track risks, and maintain organized documentation across multiple projects.

• Preferred: Experience supporting public-private infrastructure projects or reimbursement-based funding initiatives.
