Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit transcribed documents for clarity, completeness, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information and sensitive hospital records.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to clarify any ambiguities in dictations.

• Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

• Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and transcription best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare documentation.

• Exceptional listening and typing skills with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with transcription software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical transcription or a related healthcare documentation role is preferred.
