Job Summary

Insight Advisors is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mortgage Operations Team Lead to oversee daily operations and support the success of our mortgage processing team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in mortgage operations, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, remote work environment. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, compliance with industry regulations, and a seamless client experience, while working flexible hours aligned with US business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mortgage processors and support staff.

• Oversee day-to-day mortgage operations including loan processing, documentation, and compliance checks.

• Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines are met.

• Collaborate with underwriting, sales, and client service teams to ensure smooth loan processing.

• Identify process gaps and implement operational improvements to enhance team productivity.

• Ensure compliance with mortgage industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

• Provide regular performance feedback, training, and coaching to team members.

• Generate and analyze reports to track operational performance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

• Act as the primary point of escalation for complex or urgent operational issues.

• Support management in strategic planning, project execution, and cross-departmental initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage teams remotely.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed decisions to drive operational success.

• Proficiency with mortgage loan origination systems (LOS), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mortgage operations or loan processing.

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role within the mortgage or financial services sector.

• Experience working in remote or distributed team environments is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.

• Must be available to work US business hours with flexibility to adjust as needed for deadlines or team coordination.
