Job Summary
Joyful Households is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced weekend nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a busy family environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and enrichment of children while supporting their daily routines. This role requires someone who is nurturing, energetic, and capable of creating a fun, engaging, and structured environment over the weekends.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during the weekend hours.

Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.

Organize and engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.

Assist with basic hygiene, dressing, and nap routines.

Plan and implement fun, creative, and structured activities to promote learning and social development.

Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment.

Communicate regularly with parents about the children’s activities, moods, and progress.

Handle minor emergencies calmly and responsibly.

Occasionally assist with light household tasks related to child care, such as laundry or tidying play areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a nanny or in childcare, preferably with weekend availability.

CPR, First Aid, or other relevant childcare certifications (preferred).

Experience
