Cozy Nest Nannies is seeking a compassionate, responsible, and energetic part-time weekend nanny to care for a delightful preschool-aged child. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while supporting the child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging young children in creative play, educational activities, and light household assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, safe, and loving care for a preschool-aged child during weekends.

• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including arts, crafts, games, and outdoor play.

• Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, snack times, dressing, and hygiene.

• Monitor and ensure the child’s safety at all times.

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, behavior, and milestones.

• Light household tasks related to childcare, such as tidying play areas, washing dishes after meals, and laundry for the child.

• Support social and emotional development through positive reinforcement, reading, and interactive play.

• Respond calmly and effectively in case of minor injuries or emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in childcare, particularly with preschool-aged children.

• Strong understanding of early childhood development.

• CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, creativity, and a nurturing demeanor.

• Ability to create a structured yet fun environment for children.

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional childcare or nanny experience.
