Job Summary

SecureMalls Inc. is seeking highly vigilant and professional Armed Security Officers to protect and secure our commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, tenants, visitors, and assets. This position requires strong attention to detail, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to act with integrity under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned commercial facility premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or disturbances.

• Maintain visible presence to deter criminal or suspicious activities.

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, ensuring appropriate escalation when necessary.

• Enforce facility access control policies, including identification checks and visitor management.

• Conduct routine inspections of doors, windows, gates, and surveillance systems to ensure facility security.

• Prepare accurate, detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.

• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and facility management as needed.

• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must possess a valid armed security license/permit as required by local or state regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is a plus.

• Ability to carry and use firearms responsibly and in compliance with legal standards.

• Strong observational and surveillance skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under stressful or emergency conditions.

Experience

• Prior experience as an armed security officer, law enforcement personnel, or military background preferred.

• Experience in commercial facility security highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time and shift-based schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Flexibility to work extended hours in emergencies or special assignments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and firearm safety.

• Familiarity with security technology (CCTV, alarm systems, access control).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate conflicts.
