Job Summary

SecureMalls Inc., a leader in professional security solutions, is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Campus Security Assistant to ensure the safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors in a school environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and committed to maintaining a secure, orderly, and welcoming campus. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding school property, enforcing rules, and providing immediate assistance during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor school premises, including classrooms, hallways, entrances, and outdoor areas, to ensure a safe environment.

• Manage access control for visitors, staff, and contractors, ensuring compliance with school policies.

• Conduct regular patrols of campus grounds to detect and prevent potential security risks or incidents.

• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including medical, fire, and security incidents.

• Assist in developing and implementing safety procedures, drills, and evacuation plans.

• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.

• Collaborate with school administration, staff, and local law enforcement when necessary.

• Provide a visible and approachable security presence to deter unauthorized activities.

• Support students and staff with guidance on safety protocols and security concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or safety preferred.

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

• Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid.

• Familiarity with surveillance systems and access control technology is a plus.

• Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related role is highly desirable.

• Experience working in educational or youth-focused environments is an advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours
