As an Airport Security Screener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of passengers, airport personnel, and the traveling public by screening passengers, baggage, and cargo efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on items, and checked baggage using advanced security equipment.

• Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security screening technology in compliance with airport and federal regulations.

• Identify prohibited items and potential security threats and take appropriate action according to standard procedures.

• Provide clear and courteous communication to passengers while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Maintain detailed records and reports of screening activities, incidents, and compliance checks.

• Collaborate with airport authorities, law enforcement, and security team members to maintain a safe and secure environment.

• Attend and successfully complete all required training programs and ongoing professional development courses.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
