Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our growing healthcare support team. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical dictations, including patient histories, radiology reports, operative notes, and discharge summaries.

• Edit and proofread transcribed documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information.

• Review audio recordings and convert them into well-structured written documents.

• Verify medical terminology, drug names, and procedures for accuracy.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies or unclear dictations.

• Meet daily and weekly productivity targets while ensuring high-quality work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical transcription with a strong understanding of healthcare documentation.

• Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.

• Proficient in transcription software, foot pedals, and word processing tools.

• Ability to multitask and work independently under minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written communication.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in medical transcription, preferably in multiple specialties.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and voice recognition editing is a plus.
