Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking meticulous and reliable Work from Home Medical Transcriptionists to join our growing remote team. As a Work from Home Medical Transcriptionist, you will have the flexibility to manage your own hours while contributing to the smooth operation of healthcare documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings of medical reports, including clinical summaries, patient histories, operative notes, discharge summaries, and consultation reports.

• Review and edit medical documents for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and proper medical terminology.

• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant data protection regulations.

• Adhere to transcription guidelines, formatting standards, and submission deadlines.

• Communicate with supervisors or healthcare providers to clarify unclear audio or medical terminology.

• Maintain organized records of completed transcriptions and workflow progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of English, including grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.

• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and disease processes.

• Proficiency with transcription software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent listening and typing skills, with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.

• Ability to follow strict formatting and quality standards.

Experience

• Prior experience as a Medical Transcriptionist is preferred but not mandatory; freshers with medical transcription training are welcome to apply.

• Experience in remote or freelance work is an advantage.
