Job Summary

SkillShine Academy is looking for a talented and motivated Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our online learning platform that empowers students and professionals with digital skills. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coding, loves problem-solving, and wants to make an impact in the EdTech industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel PHP framework.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to build new features.

• Write clean, secure, and scalable code that adheres to best practices.

• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways to improve platform functionality.

• Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization for performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to ensure smooth platform operations.

• Maintain proper documentation of code, processes, and workflows.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve development processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel framework, and MySQL.

• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as a Laravel Developer or in a similar role.

• Freshers with strong Laravel project experience and portfolio are also encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a remote-friendly setup.

• Standard schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM IST, with occasional weekend support if required.
