Job Summary

Emirates SkyCargo, the award-winning cargo division of Emirates, is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Cargo Handling Assistants to join our dynamic operations team. This role is essential in ensuring that cargo handling, storage, and documentation are carried out seamlessly, maintaining Emirates’ high standards of safety, security, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe and efficient handling of cargo, including loading, unloading, and storage of shipments.

• Verify documentation and ensure cargo records are accurately maintained.

• Support warehouse operations by preparing shipments, sorting cargo, and labeling packages.

• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure timely processing of shipments.

• Inspect cargo to ensure compliance with Emirates SkyCargo safety and security procedures.

• Provide customer-focused support by addressing queries related to cargo status and handling.

• Assist in the preparation of cargo for special handling (e.g., perishable, dangerous goods, and fragile shipments).

• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company guidelines at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

• Basic knowledge of cargo operations, warehousing, or logistics is preferred.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks, including lifting cargo.

• Familiarity with computer-based cargo management systems is an advantage.

Experience

• Entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Prior experience in cargo handling, logistics, or warehouse operations will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, depending on operational requirements.
