Job Summary

Careem Operations Pakistan is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Coordinator to join our Rides team in Gujranwala. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational activities of our ride-hailing services, ensuring smooth coordination between drivers, customers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering a superior service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day coordination of ride operations, including monitoring driver performance and ride requests.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for drivers and customers, addressing operational queries and concerns promptly.

  • Support the scheduling and allocation of rides to optimize service efficiency.

  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance service quality.

  • Collaborate with regional operations and support teams to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to ride operations and driver activity.

  • Contribute to driver engagement initiatives and training programs to enhance overall performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis.

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in operations, customer service, logistics, or ride-hailing/transportation sector.

  • Experience in coordinating teams or managing operational processes is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexible shift options.

  • Availability to work weekends or extended hours may be required to support operational needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.

  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and ride-hailing industry practices is a plus.

  • Analytical skills to assess operational performance and implement process improvements.
