Job Summary

Careem Logistics Pakistan is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Assistant – Parcel Management to join our dynamic operations team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth handling, tracking, and delivery of parcels across our logistics network. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily management of parcel operations, including sorting, labeling, and dispatching parcels.

  • Maintain accurate records of parcel inventory, movement, and delivery status.

  • Coordinate with drivers, delivery personnel, and warehouse teams to ensure timely parcel handling.

  • Support the resolution of customer queries related to parcel tracking and delivery.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on parcel status and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and logistics procedures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline parcel management processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.

  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and logistics management software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to operational challenges.

Experience

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or parcel management is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Fresh graduates with relevant skills and enthusiasm for logistics operations are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Standard working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (may vary based on operational requirements).

  • Flexibility for occasional extended hours during peak parcel volumes.

  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

  • Competence in using tracking systems and managing inventory data.
