Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously.

  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly, ensuring satisfaction at all times.

  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, room assignments, and billing information.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Manage telephone calls, emails, and online queries professionally.

  • Upsell hotel services, facilities, and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue.

  • Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and represents the hotel’s luxury standards.

  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or hotel management education is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi and Marathi is advantageous.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.

  • Proficient in using hotel management software and MS Office applications.

  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a front desk receptionist in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting preferred.

  • Familiarity with standard check-in/check-out procedures and reservation systems is desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, rotational shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per hotel requirements.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.

  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver proactive service.
