Job Summary:

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Medical Store Counter Salesman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance, guidance, and sales support for over-the-counter and prescription medicines. This role demands professionalism, accuracy, and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a seamless customer experience while maintaining inventory standards and store compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional service.

• Assist customers in selecting medications, healthcare products, and other store items.

• Handle prescription orders accurately and ensure proper dispensing under pharmacy guidelines.

• Maintain proper records of sales, stock, and transactions.

• Ensure shelves and displays are organized, clean, and well-stocked.

• Provide guidance on dosage, storage, and general medication information (without offering medical advice).

• Manage billing, cash handling, and electronic payment systems efficiently.

• Coordinate with suppliers for inventory replenishment.

• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and store policies.

• Address and resolve customer queries or complaints professionally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of medicines, healthcare products, and medical terminology.

• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Attention to detail, honesty, and integrity.

Experience:

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Prior experience in retail, pharmacy, or medical store environments is an advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

• Typically 8–10 hours per day, including weekends, as per store requirements.

• Flexible shifts may be offered depending on the store location and demand.
