OceanGlide Cruises is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cabin Crew English Language Instructor to join our training team. This role focuses on equipping prospective cabin crew members with the English language skills, communication techniques, and professional etiquette required for a successful career onboard our cruise ships. The ideal candidate will combine linguistic expertise with a passion for hospitality training, ensuring trainees are prepared for real-world interactions with international passengers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver structured English language training programs tailored to cruise line cabin crew requirements.

• Conduct interactive lessons emphasizing conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, and professional communication.

• Simulate real-life onboard scenarios to practice customer service interactions and safety announcements in English.

• Assess trainee progress through written tests, oral presentations, and role-playing exercises.

• Provide personalized feedback and coaching to help trainees meet language proficiency standards.

• Collaborate with the training team to continually enhance curriculum and training materials.

• Maintain records of trainee attendance, performance, and certifications.

• Stay updated on the latest trends in English language instruction and cruise hospitality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

• Professional certification in English language teaching (e.g., TESOL, CELTA) is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hospitality and cruise industry terminology.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and interactive activities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire learners.

• Proficiency in digital teaching tools and online training platforms.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English as a second language, preferably in the hospitality or aviation/cruise industry.

• Experience in curriculum development and trainee assessment is highly desirable.

• Previous exposure to training cabin crew or service staff is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate training schedules.

• Occasional weekend or evening sessions may be required for intensive training programs.
