Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit engaging content for websites, blogs, newsletters, case studies, and marketing campaigns.

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and strategic goals.

• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy, originality, and industry relevance in all written materials.

• Optimize content for SEO to increase online visibility and audience reach.

• Review and edit junior writers’ work, providing guidance and constructive feedback.

• Stay updated with industry trends, audience preferences, and emerging digital storytelling techniques.

• Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.

• Excellent command of the English language, with superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Strong portfolio showcasing versatile writing styles (long-form, short-form, creative, and technical content).

• Proficiency in SEO practices, content management systems (WordPress or similar), and digital content tools.

• Ability to create content tailored for diverse platforms including websites, blogs, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media.

• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital content creation.

• Prior experience working in a remote, collaborative environment is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale content projects and mentoring junior writers.

Working Hours

• This is a 100% remote position based in South Africa.

• Flexible working hours with the expectation to overlap with global teams for key meetings.

• Full-time commitment required (40 hours per week).
