Job Summary
MongoDB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our global team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the success, satisfaction, and long-term retention of our global enterprise clients. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve their business objectives using MongoDB’s industry-leading database solutions. This position requires a strong mix of customer relationship management, technical understanding, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key global clients, acting as their primary point of contact.

Drive customer success by ensuring clients derive maximum value from MongoDB’s products and services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, and Technical Support to deliver world-class customer experiences.

Monitor customer health and proactively identify opportunities for growth, retention, and advocacy.

Guide clients in adopting MongoDB best practices, providing strategic recommendations and roadmaps for implementation.

Lead business reviews, performance evaluations, and expansion discussions with executive stakeholders.

Address customer challenges swiftly, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.

Maintain accurate customer data, insights, and metrics within CRM tools to support business intelligence and reporting.

Support contract renewals, expansion opportunities, and upsell initiatives aligned with customer goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

7+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting, ideally within the SaaS, Cloud, or Enterprise Technology sectors.

Proven experience managing enterprise clients on a global scale.

Strong understanding of database technologies, cloud computing, and enterprise software ecosystems.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.

Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and customer engagement platforms.

Experience

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a client-facing or customer success role within a technology-driven company.
