Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, lead, and develop a team of production operators to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet established targets and timelines.

Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Standards, and Quality Control procedures.

Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records, deviation reports, and equipment logs.

Support validation activities and ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory audit requirements.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration.

Ensure adherence to Pfizer’s environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or related discipline.

Proven understanding of GMP, SOPs, and FDA or EMA regulatory standards.

Strong leadership and team management abilities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in process control systems, documentation, and data integrity compliance.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred.
Experience
-
5+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Prior experience managing production teams in a regulated environment is essential.

Exposure to aseptic processing, fermentation, purification, or formulation operations will be a strong advantage.
Working Hours

Full-time onsite position based at Pfizer’s Biopharmaceutical Plant.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for shift work or weekend support as required by production schedules.
