Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and develop a team of production operators to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet established targets and timelines.

• Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Standards, and Quality Control procedures.

• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records, deviation reports, and equipment logs.

• Support validation activities and ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory audit requirements.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

• Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration.

• Ensure adherence to Pfizer’s environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or related discipline.

• Proven understanding of GMP, SOPs, and FDA or EMA regulatory standards.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in process control systems, documentation, and data integrity compliance.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Prior experience managing production teams in a regulated environment is essential.

• Exposure to aseptic processing, fermentation, purification, or formulation operations will be a strong advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time onsite position based at Pfizer’s Biopharmaceutical Plant.

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for shift work or weekend support as required by production schedules.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and cleanroom operations.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to manage complex production challenges.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results through influence and collaboration.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and coordination.

• Technical proficiency with manufacturing software systems (e.g., MES, SAP, DeltaV).
