MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Digital Content Tagging and Metadata Encoder to join our expanding remote team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of digital content organization, and a passion for maintaining structured and searchable media databases. You will be responsible for tagging, categorizing, and encoding metadata for diverse digital media assets, including videos, images, documents, and audio files, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility across internal systems and global platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Tag and categorize large volumes of digital media content accurately according to established metadata guidelines and taxonomies.

• Review and update existing metadata to maintain consistency, completeness, and compliance with company standards.

• Ensure the correct encoding of content attributes such as title, genre, date, keywords, and copyright details.

• Work closely with digital asset managers and content teams to maintain data integrity across all platforms.

• Perform periodic quality checks and audits to identify tagging inconsistencies or missing metadata.

• Use digital asset management (DAM) tools, spreadsheets, and automated metadata systems for data entry and verification.

• Support the implementation of metadata structure improvements and assist in data migration projects when necessary.

• Collaborate with content curators and media specialists to ensure optimal content discoverability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Media Studies, Library Science, or a related field (preferred).

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.

• Familiarity with digital content management systems (CMS) or DAM software.

• Good command of English with strong written and data interpretation skills.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent accuracy in metadata tagging.

• Basic understanding of media file formats (image, video, and audio).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and cloud-based collaboration tools.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in data entry, digital content tagging, media cataloging, or metadata management.

• Fresh graduates with a passion for media organization and content accuracy are also encouraged to apply.
