Job Summary

MediSure Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Work From Home Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing medical billing processes, ensuring accuracy in claims submission, resolving billing issues, and supporting timely reimbursement. This role is perfect for individuals who have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for healthcare revenue operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance companies

• Follow up on unpaid claims, denied claims, and rejections

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility

• Maintain detailed records of billing activities and payment transactions

• Resolve billing discrepancies by working with insurance providers, patients, and internal teams

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and medical billing regulations

• Update billing software and patient accounts with accurate data

• Generate reports related to billing performance and financial tracking

• Provide excellent customer support regarding billing inquiries

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)

• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement procedures

• Ability to work with billing software and practice management tools

• Strong typing and data entry skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, or revenue cycle management

• Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers is preferred

• Freshers with medical billing training are encouraged to apply

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working schedule

• Full-time role (40 hours per week)

• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend support if required

• Work-from-home setup with stable internet access required

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple billing accounts
