Job Summary

HealBridge Systems is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives, resolving billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility of working from home while contributing to an innovative healthcare technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries related to medical billing and insurance claims.

  • Assist patients in understanding their billing statements, insurance coverage, and payment options.

  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denied claims, and payment issues.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient account information within the billing system.

  • Coordinate with internal billing, coding, and RCM teams to expedite issue resolution.

  • Educate customers on HealBridge Systems’ billing procedures and payment guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.

  • Deliver high-quality customer support in a friendly, empathetic, and professional manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer service-oriented attitude with problem-solving ability.

  • Basic knowledge of medical billing terminologies and insurance processes.

  • Ability to explain complex billing concepts in simple terms.

  • Proficiency in using computers, CRM tools, and digital communication software.

  • Strong typing and data entry skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Experience

  • 1+ year of experience in medical billing, RCM, healthcare customer support, or related field preferred.

  • Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience in remote or home-based roles is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday).

  • Flexible scheduling options available.

  • Occasional weekend availability based on business needs.

  • Fully remote – work from home anywhere with a stable internet connection.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of healthcare billing cycles, CPT/ICD codes, or payer processes (preferred).
