Job Summary

BioAxis Healthcare RCM is seeking an experienced Senior Remote Medical Biller to join our growing revenue cycle management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing functions, ensuring accuracy in claims submission, supervising billing workflows, and helping optimize reimbursement processes. You will play a key role in reducing claim rejections, improving cash flow, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end medical billing operations, including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting.

• Review, audit, and correct claim errors before submission to insurance payers.

• Monitor accounts receivables and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific billing rules.

• Collaborate with coding teams to resolve documentation or coding issues.

• Train and guide junior billers and support staff.

• Prepare monthly billing reports and share insights with leadership.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer policies, regulations, and healthcare billing trends.

• Communicate with providers, insurance companies, and patients as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards.

• Proficiency in medical billing software and EHR/EMR systems.

• Excellent understanding of insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in medical billing (U.S. healthcare preferred).

• Prior experience in RCM companies or multi-specialty billing strongly preferred.

• Experience working remotely or managing virtual teams is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (Remote)

• Flexibility to work in US healthcare time zones if required

• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or overtime based on workflow

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• In-depth understanding of reimbursement methodologies

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payer billing

• Expertise in denial management and appeals

• Ability to train and mentor junior billing staff

• High-level organizational and multitasking capability
