RCMLogic Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Freshers to join our Medical Billing & Coding team from the comfort of your home. As a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures, managing billing processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations to facilitate smooth reimbursement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately review and code patient medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.

• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on claim status.

• Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and eligibility before billing.

• Resolve discrepancies in billing and coding to minimize claim rejections or delays.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to clarify any billing or coding issues.

• Maintain accurate records of billing activities and provide regular reports to supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or certification in Medical Billing & Coding is a plus.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and healthcare billing processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn billing software.

Experience

• Freshers are welcome; prior experience in medical billing or coding is advantageous but not required.

• Internships or academic projects in healthcare administration or related fields are considered a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexible work-from-home schedules.

• Shifts may vary depending on client needs, with potential for morning, evening, or rotational shifts.
