Job Summary

EditPro Studios is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Freelance Editor to join our growing remote creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining written content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and consistency across various formats. You will collaborate with writers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality, publication-ready materials. Key Responsibilities

• Review, revise, and polish written content for grammar, structure, tone, and accuracy.

• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, project briefs, and editorial style manuals.

• Edit a variety of content, including blogs, articles, marketing copy, eBooks, scripts, and business documents.

• Provide constructive feedback to writers to enhance clarity and impact.

• Conduct light fact-checking and ensure content credibility.

• Collaborate with project managers and creative teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.

• Suggest improvements for readability, narrative flow, and overall content quality.

• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while maintaining consistent output.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

• Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and style.

• Proven experience editing professional content across various niches.

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for inconsistencies and errors.

• Proficiency with editing tools such as Google Docs, MS Word, and track-changes features.

• Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago Manual of Style, or MLA) is highly desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of professional editing or proofreading experience.

• Experience working with digital content, publishing platforms, or marketing teams is a plus.

• Freelance or remote work experience preferred.

Working Hours

• Fully remote and flexible work schedule.
