Job Summary
CleanCopy America is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Copy Editing Specialist to join our growing editorial team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, refining, and elevating written content across diverse industries. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with writers, content managers, and project leads to clarify content objectives and maintain messaging accuracy.

Improve readability, flow, tone, and overall quality while preserving original intent.

Conduct fact-checking and verify information to maintain content integrity.

Edit for SEO best practices when required, ensuring content is optimized for digital platforms.

Provide constructive feedback to writers to help enhance content quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field.

Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle inconsistencies.

Proficiency in editing tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Grammarly, or similar platforms.

Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of professional copy editing, proofreading, or editorial experience.
