Job Summary

AudioInk Services is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Remote Podcast Transcriber to join our growing transcription team. In this role, you will listen to recorded podcast audio and accurately convert it into clear, polished, and well-formatted written content. This position is ideal for individuals who have strong listening skills, excellent writing ability, and a passion for storytelling, media, and digital content. You will work independently from home while supporting a wide range of podcast creators across various genres.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to podcast recordings and transcribe spoken dialogue with high accuracy.

• Ensure transcripts follow required formatting guidelines and style preferences.

• Edit and proofread transcriptions to correct grammar, punctuation, and clarity issues.

• Maintain confidentiality of client content and adhere to data security standards.

• Deliver transcripts within set deadlines, often under time-sensitive conditions.

• Research proper names, terms, and industry-specific vocabulary when necessary.

• Communicate with the transcription coordinator to clarify audio or formatting requirements.

• Ensure consistency of tone, style, and accuracy across all assigned projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent command of written English, including grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.

• Strong listening and comprehension skills, especially with diverse accents or fast-paced speech.

• Ability to type quickly and accurately (recommended 60+ WPM).

• Experience using transcription software and text-editing tools.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Reliable internet connection and a quiet working environment.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple audio files simultaneously.

Experience

• Prior transcription, captioning, or writing/editing experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience working with podcast or media content is an added advantage.

• Freshers with excellent writing and listening skills are encouraged to apply.
