Job Summary

CaptionPro America is seeking a detail-oriented Work-From-Home Video Captioning Specialist to support our growing library of digital content. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate, well-timed, and high-quality captions for a diverse range of videos, ensuring accessibility and an enhanced viewing experience for all audiences. This position is ideal for individuals with strong language proficiency, excellent listening skills, and a passion for media accuracy and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe and caption video content with high accuracy and proper timing.

• Ensure captions follow established style guides, formatting standards, and accessibility requirements.

• Review and edit automated captions to improve clarity, grammar, and readability.

• Sync captions precisely with audio to maintain smooth viewer experience.

• Perform quality checks on completed captions to ensure error-free delivery.

• Handle sensitive or technical content with confidentiality and care.

• Meet daily or weekly project deadlines while maintaining consistency in output quality.

• Collaborate with the content and quality assurance teams to address revisions or feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent command of written English, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Strong listening skills with the ability to understand various accents, dialects, and speech patterns.

• Proficiency in using captioning or transcription tools (training may be provided).

• High attention to detail with the ability to spot and correct errors quickly.

• Strong typing speed and accuracy.

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment.

• Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and quiet working environment.

Experience

• Prior experience in captioning, transcription, or media editing is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., ADA, FCC guidelines) is a plus.

• Freshers with excellent language skills are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours
