Job Summary
MediaWrite Services is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Remote Interview Transcription Clerk to support our growing portfolio of media, research, and corporate clients. In this role, you will be responsible for listening to recorded interviews and converting them into accurate, well-formatted written transcripts. This is a remote, flexible position ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, excellent language skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality transcription work.
Key Responsibilities

Transcribe recorded interviews, discussions, and spoken content with high accuracy and consistency.

Review and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.

Follow project-specific style guides and client instructions.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Meet daily or weekly transcription targets and deadlines.

Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding project updates or clarifications.

Ensure proper file naming, formatting, and secure submission of completed transcripts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Strong listening skills with the ability to understand diverse accents and speech patterns.

Fast and accurate typing speed (recommended 50+ WPM).

Ability to follow instructions, apply style guides, and maintain consistency.

Experience

Prior transcription experience (general, interview, media, or research-based) is preferred but not mandatory.
