Job Summary
OneTech Associates is seeking a highly skilled Remote DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our Kubernetes infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is critical for ensuring smooth deployment, scalability, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in modern DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure.
- Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of applications.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
- Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices across cloud infrastructure and pipelines.
- Perform regular system audits, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Document processes, infrastructure configurations, and deployment guidelines for team use.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, trends, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.
- Expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or system administration roles.
- Proven track record in managing production-grade Kubernetes environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with large-scale, distributed systems is highly preferred.
Working Hours
- Full-time remote position with flexible hours, aligned with global team collaboration.
- Availability during overlapping hours with US and European teams is a plus.
