Job Summary

FinanceBridge Advisory is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (ACCA Certified) to join our growing financial team. In this role, you will oversee core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, support compliance activities, and provide expert financial insights to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with strong technical accounting expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Maintain general ledger accuracy, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

• Oversee tax planning, filing, and statutory compliance in accordance with local and international standards.

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring full documentation and timely completion.

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes with strict attention to deadlines.

• Implement and improve financial controls, accounting processes, and reporting systems.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Liaise with clients, vendors, banks, and regulatory bodies when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ACCA certification is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or SAP.

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of professional accounting experience.

• Prior experience in audit firms, consulting, or financial services is an added advantage.

• Experience handling full-cycle accounting and financial analysis is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Standard business hours, Monday to Friday.

• Flexibility may be required during month-end, year-end, and audit cycles.
