Job Summary
DataLink is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless connectivity, robust security, and high network performance across the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure, efficient, and reliable IT environment. Candidates with CCNA certification (preferred) will be given strong consideration.
Key Responsibilities

Manage, monitor, and maintain network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Ensure the stability, security, and performance of LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based network environments.

Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.

Perform regular system backups, updates, and patch management.

Configure and maintain network security protocols, access controls, and firewalls.

Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

Work closely with the IT team to support end-users and provide technical guidance.

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, policies, and procedures.

Monitor network performance using appropriate tools and recommend enhancements where needed.

Ensure compliance with company security standards and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

CCNA certification preferred; other relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNP).

Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.

Knowledge of network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience

2–4 years of experience in network administration, network support, or a similar technical role.

Experience managing enterprise-level networks is an advantage.

Prior involvement in network security, planning, or infrastructure projects is beneficial.
Working Hours

Full-time position.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required during system updates or emergencies.
