Job Summary

ERP Experts is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of financial processes within our clients’ SAP environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in SAP FI/CO modules, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. This role involves close collaboration with finance teams, IT departments, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO module configuration, customization, and integration based on client requirements.

• Analyze existing financial processes and recommend improvements aligned with SAP best practices.

• Support end-to-end SAP FICO implementation cycles including blueprinting, design, testing, training, and deployment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FI/CO modules, ensuring system stability and data accuracy.

• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR.

• Prepare detailed functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and system modifications.

• Conduct user training sessions, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.

• Provide ongoing support for SAP FICO, including month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI and CO modules.

• Solid understanding of financial accounting, controlling, cost center accounting, asset accounting, and profitability analysis.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred).

• Ability to interpret business needs and convert them into effective SAP solutions.

• Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules.

• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3–7 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in implementation, support, or upgrade projects.

• Experience with full SAP lifecycle implementations is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Standard working hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

• Flexibility required during project deadlines, go-live phases, or system cutovers.

• Remote/Hybrid options may be available based on project requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, AA) and CO (CCA, PCA, COPA).

• Strong documentation and presentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and functional teams.

• Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of financial processes and KPIs.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
