Job Summary

SkyNet Solutions is seeking an experienced and certified Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructures across AWS and Azure environments. In this leadership-oriented role, you will define cloud architecture standards, develop scalable solutions, and guide cross-functional teams toward achieving optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures using AWS and Azure platforms.

• Develop cloud strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and applications.

• Lead cloud migration efforts, including planning, execution, and optimization activities.

• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to automate processes and improve cloud performance.

• Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, guidelines, and best practices.

• Optimize cloud costs by monitoring usage, rightsizing resources, and implementing cost-efficient patterns.

• Ensure adherence to compliance, governance, and security standards across cloud environments.

• Provide technical mentorship and act as a subject-matter expert to internal engineering teams.

• Resolve complex technical issues and support troubleshooting efforts for cloud services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) and/or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure design, virtualization, networking, storage, and security.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation practices.

• Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks, identity and access management, and compliance standards.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud architecture experience in AWS and Azure environments.

• Proven track record in designing large-scale enterprise cloud solutions.

• Experience in cloud migration, modernization, and cost optimization projects.

• Background in DevOps practices and cloud automation is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working schedule with availability during core business hours.

• Remote, hybrid, or on-site options may be offered depending on project requirements.
