Job Summary

St. Jude's Medical is seeking compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our hospital staff team. The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting physicians and healthcare teams, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their hospital stay. This role requires clinical expertise, strong ethical standards, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements

• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document medical information accurately

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans

• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care

• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a safe, clean, and supportive care environment

• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times

• Support junior nursing staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the appropriate nursing council

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or equivalent qualification

• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a hospital environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

• Compassionate, ethical, and professional attitude

• Proficiency in basic computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR)

Experience

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

• Fresh graduates with strong clinical training and internship experience may also be considered

• Experience in medical-surgical, ICU, emergency, or specialty units is an advantage

Working Hours

• Full-time, hospital-based position

• Rotational shifts including day, night, weekends, and public holidays

• Shift schedules will be assigned according to department needs and staffing requirements
