Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

• Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure mechanical designs meet functional, safety, and performance standards.

• Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency.

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.

• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes to identify improvements and ensure reliability.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company quality requirements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects within the engineering team.

• Support project timelines, budgets, and milestones by providing accurate design estimates and updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).

• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and simulations.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality designs.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with project management and design documentation best practices.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial engineering environment.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering mechanical projects from concept to production.

• Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation processes is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines.
