Job Summary:

Muthoot Finance, a leader in financial services and gold loan financing in India, is seeking a Junior Executive – Gold Loan Appraiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and appraising gold assets submitted for loans, ensuring accurate assessments that uphold the company’s commitment to trust, transparency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate appraisal of gold ornaments and jewelry to determine loan eligibility and value.

• Verify authenticity and purity of gold through standard testing procedures.

• Prepare detailed appraisal reports and documentation for loan processing.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and financial guidelines.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in assessing gold assets to minimize risk.

• Handle customer interactions professionally, providing guidance on loan procedures and policies.

• Collaborate with branch staff and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.

• Monitor and manage daily appraisal records, ensuring proper storage and security of assets.

• Stay updated on market trends in gold prices to provide informed valuations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Graduate Degree, or equivalent; specialization in finance, commerce, or related fields preferred.

• Certification or experience in gold appraisal, jewelry evaluation, or related field is an advantage.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, spreadsheet applications) for documentation and reporting.

• Integrity and honesty with a focus on ethical appraisal practices.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in gold appraisal, banking, financial services, or related sectors preferred.

• Fresh graduates with relevant training or certifications are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours:

• Standard working hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.

• Occasional extended hours based on branch requirements and peak customer demand.
