Job Summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Construction Site Engineer to oversee and execute residential construction projects with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The role involves on-site supervision, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of residential projects in compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at residential project sites.

• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.

• Monitor quality standards, workmanship, and material usage at the site.

• Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, and site documentation.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety norms, statutory regulations, and company policies.

• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues in a timely manner.

• Assist in quantity estimation, material planning, and cost control.

• Support project managers in achieving milestones and delivery timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and practices.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Proficiency in basic construction software and MS Office tools.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• High level of integrity, discipline, and attention to detail.

Experience

• Minimum 2–6 years of relevant experience in residential construction projects.

• Experience working on large-scale housing, apartments, or township projects will be preferred.

• Freshers with strong site exposure during internships may also be considered for junior roles.

Working Hours

• Full-time, site-based role.

• Working hours typically 9–10 hours per day, six days a week.

• Flexibility required to meet project deadlines and site exigencies.

• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures.

• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced site environment.
