Job Summary

Alufit International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Analysis Engineer specializing in high-rise structures to join our engineering and design team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the analysis, design validation, and optimization of complex structural systems for tall buildings and landmark projects. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, deep knowledge of structural behavior, and hands-on experience with advanced engineering software. You will collaborate closely with architects, façade engineers, project managers, and construction teams to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions that meet international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and design for high-rise buildings, including steel, reinforced concrete, and composite structures.

• Analyze structural behavior under gravity, wind, seismic, and dynamic loading conditions.

• Develop and review structural models using industry-standard software for linear and nonlinear analysis.

• Prepare and review structural calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, façade, MEP, and construction teams, to ensure design integration and constructability.

• Ensure compliance with relevant international and local design codes, standards, and best practices.

• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize structural systems for cost, performance, and sustainability.

• Assist in resolving technical issues during fabrication, erection, and construction stages.

• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and technical presentations as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Strong foundation in structural mechanics, advanced structural analysis, and design principles.

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD, or similar tools.

• Good working knowledge of international design codes (ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, BS, IS, or equivalent).

• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Experience

• Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design of high-rise or complex building structures.

• Proven experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use tall building projects.

• Experience in façade-related structural systems or interaction with façade engineering teams will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on project requirements

• Occasional extended hours may be required to meet critical project deadlines

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth understanding of high-rise structural systems and load-resisting mechanisms.

• Knowledge of wind engineering, seismic design concepts, and performance-based design is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to engineering accuracy and safety.

• Strong coordination skills to work with internal and external stakeholders across different regions.
