Job Summary
RG Engineers is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Quantity Surveyor to support our industrial construction projects. The role involves on-site measurement, cost control, billing, and coordination with project teams to ensure accurate quantity estimation and effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Carry out on-site quantity take-offs and measurements for industrial construction works.

Prepare and verify BOQs, rate analysis, and cost estimates based on drawings and site conditions.

Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders, ensuring alignment with budgets.

Prepare running account (RA) bills, final bills, and subcontractor certifications.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to validate quantities and progress.

Track material consumption and reconcile quantities with procurement and stores records.

Assist in cost forecasting, cash flow planning, and project cost reporting.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and quality standards.

Maintain accurate records of measurements, drawings, and site instructions.

Support audits and claims by providing measurement data and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Strong understanding of industrial construction methods, materials, and specifications.

Proficiency in quantity surveying tools, MS Excel, and basic cost management software.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.

Effective communication and coordination abilities for site-based interactions.

Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.
Experience

2–6 years of relevant experience as a Field Quantity Surveyor or similar role.

Prior experience in industrial construction projects such as factories, plants, warehouses, or process facilities is highly preferred.

Exposure to billing, subcontractor management, and site measurement is essential.
Working Hours

Full-time, site-based role

Standard working hours: Monday to Saturday, with flexibility based on project requirements and site schedules.
