Job Summary:
Micron Technology is seeking a highly motivated and talented Entry-Level VLSI Design & Chip Verification Engineer to join our cutting-edge semiconductor team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and verification of advanced VLSI circuits and chips that power next-generation memory and computing technologies. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in RTL design, functional verification, and simulation of digital circuits for memory and logic chips.

Develop and execute test plans and verification environments using SystemVerilog, UVM, or other verification frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including circuit design, physical design, firmware, and validation to ensure high-quality chip development.

Debug and analyze design and verification issues, propose solutions, and implement fixes under guidance.

Contribute to the documentation of design specifications, test reports, and verification plans.

Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions, demonstrating attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Stay current with the latest VLSI design tools, methodologies, and industry trends to continuously improve team performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

Strong understanding of digital logic design, computer architecture, and semiconductor fundamentals.

Hands-on experience or academic projects with Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, or similar HDL languages.

Familiarity with chip verification methodologies (UVM, directed/random testing, assertions).

Proficiency in simulation tools (ModelSim, VCS, QuestaSim, etc.) and scripting languages (Python, TCL, Perl) is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive attitude towards learning.
Experience:

0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates with relevant internships or academic project experience are encouraged to apply.

Internship or project experience in VLSI design, chip verification, FPGA prototyping, or related areas is highly valued.
Working Hours:

Standard full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required to meet project deadlines.

Occasional extended hours may be needed during critical project phases.
