Job Summary
Accenture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Cloud Security Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across cloud environments. As a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will contribute to safeguarding client assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing security best practices in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor cloud environments for security incidents, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activity using SIEM and cloud-native security tools.

Investigate and respond to security alerts, escalate incidents, and assist in incident remediation.

Conduct regular cloud security assessments and support compliance audits.

Assist in the implementation and management of cloud security policies, access controls, and identity management solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment of cloud applications and services.

Maintain documentation of security procedures, incident reports, and system configurations.

Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats, cloud technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with security monitoring tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and risk assessment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Experience

0–2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or cloud operations is preferred but not mandatory.

Internship or project experience in cloud security, network security, or IT operations is highly valued.
Working Hours

Full-time position.

Standard working hours with potential rotational shifts to support 24/7 cloud security monitoring.
