Job Summary

Accenture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Cloud Security Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across cloud environments. As a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will contribute to safeguarding client assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing security best practices in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud environments for security incidents, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activity using SIEM and cloud-native security tools.

• Investigate and respond to security alerts, escalate incidents, and assist in incident remediation.

• Conduct regular cloud security assessments and support compliance audits.

• Assist in the implementation and management of cloud security policies, access controls, and identity management solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment of cloud applications and services.

• Maintain documentation of security procedures, incident reports, and system configurations.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats, cloud technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with security monitoring tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and risk assessment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or cloud operations is preferred but not mandatory.

• Internship or project experience in cloud security, network security, or IT operations is highly valued.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.

• Standard working hours with potential rotational shifts to support 24/7 cloud security monitoring.
