Job Summary:

Fanuc India, a global leader in industrial automation and robotics, is seeking a highly motivated Junior Robotics & Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in mechatronics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic and automation systems.

  • Support the integration of robotic solutions in manufacturing and industrial processes.

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot robotic controllers, PLCs, and sensors.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop mechatronic systems combining mechanical, electrical, and software components.

  • Conduct system validation and performance analysis to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.

  • Prepare technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and reports.

  • Participate in on-site commissioning, installation, and training sessions for clients.

  • Keep up to date with emerging robotics and automation technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering.

  • Basic knowledge of robotics programming, PLCs, sensors, and motion control systems.

  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.

  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, actuators, motors, and control systems.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in robotics, automation, or mechatronics-related projects is preferred.

  • Internship or project experience in industrial automation or robotics will be an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Standard Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility depending on project needs.

  • Occasional site visits or on-call support for client deployments may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong technical foundation in mechatronics systems and robotics principles.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.

  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices.

  • Capability to adapt to fast-paced project environments and learn new technologies quickly.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and client-facing skills.
